Requirements
FutureEd is a highly regarded national education policy center at the McCourt School of Public Policy, Georgetown University. The Policy Associate plays a key role in FutureEd's education policy work. Duties of the Policy Associate include but are not limited to:
- Conduct research in support of FutureEd's major publications.
- Track federal and state education legislation.
- Author FutureEd publications.
- Support the management of FutureEd's website.
- Support FutureEd's social media channels.
- Support the production of FutureEd's publications, webinars, and podcasts.
- Collaborate with FutureEd's external partners.
Work Interactions
The Policy Associate reports to FutureEd's Director and works closely with the Senior Policy Analyst, FutureEd's Research Associates, FutureEd contractors, Senior Fellows, Research Advisors, the media, and a range of external partners.
Requirements and Qualifications
The Policy Associate requires:
- A Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
Work Mode Designation
This position has been designated as Hybrid. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University. The anticipated salary is $60,000.
Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$41,926.00 - $65,090.00
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
