Position Summary

This position requires the person assigned to patrol campus and perform duties assigned in a vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the University community and surrounding areas.

This patrol leader is a critical hire uniformed weekend nights position.

Essential Functions

Supervises, trains, supports and monitors the performance of assigned guard posts.

Directs access control activities performed at or on their assigned posts.

Oversees guard staff assigned to special events on campus.

Tests and inspects all fire alarm systems.

Patrols assigned areas both on and off campus to prevent crime, and assist students, faculty and staff.

Directs traffic flow and other duties at University events as assigned by the tour Duty Supervisor.

First responder to emergencies.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid Driver's License

NYS Guard License

NYS Armed Guard License

Minimum of twenty years in law enforcement with a police agency or University Police and or security department

Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.

Minimum Starting Salary: 60,000.00

Maximum Starting Salary: 64,048.00

Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
