The College teaches undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students on campus and online in more than 90 programs.

About the Opportunity:

NU Global is a leader in innovative educational programs for international students. We offer ESL and content courses to help prepare students for undergraduate and graduate studies at Northeastern University.

Responsibilities:

NU Global is seeking dynamic, academically-focused English language teachers. On-ground, semester-based courses include academic listening, speaking, reading, and writing at the upper intermediate and advanced levels, and some content-based instruction. Schedules vary, with teaching loads from three to eighteen hours per week.

Qualifications:

US work authorization required

Master's degree in English, Teaching English as a Second Language, Applied Linguistics, or closely related field

At least two years of experience teaching in a higher education environment

Demonstrated commitment to student success

Ability and willingness to collaborate with peers on student success strategies

Positions are available contingent upon enrollment, funding and departmental needs.

Stipend rates vary per course.

Position not benefits-eligible.
