In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.
Expected Pay Scale
Minimum: $66,560.00
Maximum $67,000.00
Job Summary
The Project Manager for the College of Podiatric Medicine oversees, coordinates, and manages the performance of a wide range of projects and initiatives related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Service Learning, Continuing Medical Education (CME), Research, and other special projects. This role involves planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring alignment with the colleges strategic plan. The Project Manager will also provide administrative support and manage resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Individuals must possess the knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Excellent computer skills necessary to set up document formats in Office Suite, Canva and any other software program required by this position.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact appropriately with administration, faculty, staff, students and external affiliates.
Experience in creating schedules and execution of activities, preferably in an academic setting.
Language ability to produce clear and concise reports; reasoning ability to problem solve quickly.
Must be able to prioritize and schedule opportunity for resolution of problems.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible in job assignments.

Required Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelors degree in a related field, or any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
2. Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years administrative/clerical or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Education: Masters degree preferred.
2. 5+ years experience as a project manager. Preference given to those who possess experience in an academic environment.
