Job Summary:
The Radiology Tech provides technical skills involving radiology (may include fluoroscopy). The Radiology Tech takes and may develop radiographs of various parts of the body to assist physicians in the detection of foreign bodies and diagnosis of disease or injury. The Radiologic technologist will work closely with providers and other care teams and play a key role in diagnosing patients' medical conditions. They must be able to position patients and use equipment skillfully to capture useful, high-quality diagnostic images.
Key Responsibilities:
- Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.
- Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including re-positioning the patient and repeating the procedure. Enters and transmits images as needed.
- Cleans exam rooms and other patient care areas between each patient.
- Maintains work areas, exam rooms, supplies, equipment, medications, immunizations.
- Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
Work Location:
Onsite- this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Highlands Ranch, CO.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program or a diploma, certificate, or associate degree in your chosen discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in a related field.
Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree.
- 2+ years of experience in a related area/specialty.
- EPIC experience.
- Bilingual, Spanish-speaking.
- EPIC, Kronos, and HealthStream experience.
Conditions of Employment:
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R). Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for the position. State licensure if required by law.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross healthcare provider-level CPR certification.
- Maintains all required licensure and certifications for the position.
- Maintains all continuing education requirements.
- Must be able to work in person.
- Must be able to travel to alternate locations as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong organizational and personal skills.
- Strong medical terminology knowledge and skills.
- Strong knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 procedures.
- Strong knowledge of value-based care and risk-based coding procedures in Primary Care.
- Strong knowledge of medication and injection procedures.
- Ability to safely administer a variety of treatments and medications as directed.
- Ability to use various types of equipment for examination and treatment procedures.
- Ability to accurately take and record vital signs.
- Ability to accurately reconcile patient medications.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $26.71 per hour.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
