Job Description:
The Facilities Event Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing a wide range of events within the organization's facilities. This role involves close collaboration with the facilities management team to ensure that all event logistics, space utilization, and equipment needs are effectively managed. The Event Coordinator ensures that events are executed smoothly, within budget, and according to the organization's standards.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee all logistical aspects of events, including space setup, equipment, and facility arrangements.
- Collaborate with facilities management to ensure appropriate room layouts, furniture, and other logistical requirements are met.

- Coordinate with custodial to ensure the facility is well-prepared before, during, and after events.
- Manage event schedules and ensure there is no overlap or conflicts with other events or facility maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any facilities-related issues that arise during events, including custodial needs, grounds needs, electrical needs, temperature control, or furniture placement.
- Prepare post-event reports and collect feedback to continuously improve event planning and execution processes.
- Work closely with campus clients and internal teams to understand event needs and provide recommendations on space and facilities usage.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and accessibility standards in all event spaces.
