Job Description

Mandatory Requirements:

Must have High School Diploma or GED.
Must be able to perform the physical demands of the position including extensive walking, standing, bending, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Must have valid driver's license, free of any suspension or revocation, from the individual's state of permanent residency.
Must have experience and willingness to conduct assigned work in a multi-trades job environment, work on multiple types of building equipment and systems, and assist journey level trades staff as assigned.

Trade-Specific Skills:

Knowledge, ability, and experience to utilize necessary tools, methods, and materials to perform various building maintenance tasks such as but not limited to Filter removal/installation, coil cleaning and minor repairs to AHUs, EXAUs, ER Us, Chilled beams, induction and fancoil units.
Knowledge, ability, and experience to utilize necessary tools, to inspect, clean, lubricate, identify repair needs for air registers, louven, and dampers.
The ability, and experience to inventory and maintain the required amount of filters through-out the campus buildings to support the preventive and corerctive filter replacements schedule.
The knowledge, ability, and experience to perform belt measurements on various types of heating and cooling ventilation equipment using the multi-skilled process.
GENERAL tasks as assigned including delivery and removal of materials, performing visual inspections, support the development of a written filter / equipment database for AHUs and fan coils, ect., for Asset ldentification and labeling.
Practical and theoretical knowledge in understanding and utilizing safe work practices and the use of PPE with all assigned tasks on building HVAC equipment and activities as defined by OSHA.
