Job Description
Psychiatry Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville (Part-Time 50%)

Responsibilities
Program

Participate in resident conferences
Participate in annual DOM CME conference
Participate in residency applicant interviews per need

Commitment and dedication to education of resident physicians in all clinical areas

Maintain good relationships with all clinical educators
Participate in the many educational efforts of the GSM
Participate in education of medical students, both bedside teaching and didactics

Supervisory/Faculty Responsibilities

Attending physician in psychiatry clinic
Academic committees as assigned by the PD or Chair
Attending physician on in-patient consults

Responsibilities for Resident Education

Teaching responsibility for IM residents
Teaching and evaluation in clinic

Research

Participate in publishing case reports, PI/QI projects, resident presentations

Administrative

Attend departmental committee meetings

Qualifications

MD, ABPN Certified
TN Medical License

Departmental Preferences:

General outpatient psychiatry
Behavioral health
In-patient psychiatry consults
Substance use disorders (optional)
