Job Description
This position will be primarily responsible for providing Audio Visual installation and operational support of Classrooms, Conference Rooms and Digital Signage at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. In addition, this position will provide audio video technical support for Athletic events. Provide audio video support for special events held at the University of Tennessee, support for campus cable TV systems, and digital surveillance systems. Provide integration and technical support of classroom AV systems. This position will require evening and weekend work on a regular basis. Overtime, on call and limited travel will be required of this position. Qualification include a working knowledge of various AV Technologies. Installation of various types of audio and video equipment and connectors. A valid driver's License is required.
Responsibilities
- AV installation and operational support for classrooms, conference rooms, and digital signage.
- Technical Support for Classroom technology
- Technical support for athletic events, including Jumbotron and SEC Network productions.
- Support for special events and campus cable TV systems.
- Integration and technical support for classroom AV systems.
- Digital surveillance systems support.
- Position will require rotational on call
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of various AV technologies.
- Experience with installing audio and video equipment and connectors.
- A valid driver's license.
- An associate's degree (preferred).

- Education: Associate degree in related field
- Experience: experience with Extron Control System programming
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: working knowledge of power tools

- Anticipated hiring range: $52,000
