About the Opportunity

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join the CORE Lab as a Research Associate. The Research Associate will engage in a range of research activities, collaborate with lab members, and actively contribute to ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with principal investigators, postdocs, graduate students, and other lab members on various research projects within the domain of cognitive psychology.
Assist in designing and developing experimental protocols, data collection procedures, and research materials.
Conduct data collection sessions, employing various experimental techniques such as behavioral assessments, surveys, and computer-based tasks.
Assist in data preprocessing, analysis, and interpretation using appropriate statistical methods and software.
Contribute to literature reviews and participate in discussions to refine research hypotheses and methodologies.
Assist in preparation of research presentations for lab meetings, seminars, and conferences.
Contribute to the preparation of research publications, including manuscript drafting and literature citation.
Maintain accurate and organized records of research activities, data, and results.

Qualifications

Prior experience conducting research in a psychology laboratory setting is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently under supervision.
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ethical awareness and commitment to maintaining participant confidentiality and research integrity.
