Position Description
Assists with management of the Office of the Registrar.
May assist in the development, coordination and administration of the department.
Major/Essential Functions
Supervise and effectively manage DegreeWorks system and project teams. Provide positive guidance, example, and supervision for staff and users, including ongoing training and feedback for customer service and processing goals. Continuously provide all staff with learning and growth opportunities to ensure staff are properly prepared to assist on any related question or project.
Collaborate with other Office of the Registrar and Division of Enrollment Management areas and be prepared to volunteer and provide assistance as needed. Demonstrate strong teamwork and positive attitude in helping to meet overall Office, Division, and Institutional goals and needs.
Miscellaneous duties including special projects, as well as representing Registrar's Office and university on various campus organizations, committees, and national conferences. Serve as member of Registrar Management Team, assisting in facilitation of departmental communication and policies.
Organize and conduct daily functions of degree audit eligibility for the university for all students in compliance with existing state and university rules and policies, while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Act as liaison between academic units and Provost Office regarding escalated degree audit issues. Perpetuate clear and efficient communication with college contacts, and other campus offices, surrounding degree audit requirements and requests for additional information.
Project manager and functional lead of official university degree audit system, DegreeWorks. Partner with DegreeWorks technical lead to install upgrades and patches; develop and release new DegreeWorks features; and test system functionality as needed. Collaborate with Unit Manager to fulfill DW needs as primary backup.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required and four years administrative or management experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Administrative DegreeWorks management experience.
