Position Description
Designs, implements and manages an assigned program. Typical duties can include but are not limited to: Identify funding opportunities, conduct program assessments, prepare program reports, oversee and manage program marketing and communications, manage program databases, supervise program staff, plan research activities, coordinate program events, participate in strategic planning, manage program files, establish program standards and objectives, direct logistical activities to promote the success of programs, develop and implement project timelines and ensures deadlines are met, oversee program budget, ensure goals and objectives of grants are met, assists in proposal writing, comply and analyze program statistics.

  • Collaboration with Campus Partners: Work alongside Student Counseling Services, the Student Health Center, the Office of Student Conduct, Title IX and other campus stakeholders to promote holistic well-being through educational programs, intervention initiatives, and wellness-focused events.
  • Wellness and Safety Programming for Students: Organize and host events throughout the year, including during Raider Welcome and other key campus initiatives, to promote student well-being, safety, and mental health.
  • Campus Engagement: Represent the RISE department at campus events focused on student well-being, safety, and mental health.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Monitor and evaluate data on student well-being, engagement, and program effectiveness, including participation in RISE initiatives, utilization of support services, and overall impact on student success. Use data-driven insights to enhance programming and better support the campus community.
  • Event & Program Support: Assist with the planning and execution of RISE events, programs, and initiatives, including but not limited to Mental Health Awareness Week, Suicide Prevention Week, Raider Welcome, R.A.D programming, and Vector Solutions trainings.
  • Budgeting & Purchasing Support: Assist with budgeting and purchasing for RISE programs and initiatives, such as supporting procurement processes, tracking expenses, and ensuring compliance with university financial policies.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance, including hiring processes and processing ePAFs, to ensure efficient staffing and operational support for RISE programs and initiatives.


Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience developing or managing programs or projects. Additional job related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education program management.
Master's degree in higher education, student personnel/student affairs or related fields preferred.
