The Area of Finance in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University invites applications for one or more full-time, 9-month Lecturer (all ranks) in Finance. Positions to begin Fall 2025.

Major/Essential Functions
At Texas Tech University, the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer title designates a full-time, non-tenure-acquiring role with primary duties in teaching organized classes and/or instructional labs. In line with TTU's strategic priorities to engage and empower a diverse student body, applicants should have experience working with diverse student populations at the undergraduate level.

As a faculty member in the Area of Finance, you will be expected to:
  • Teach finance or commercial real estate courses at the undergraduate level
  • Support student engagement activities within the Area of Finance
  • Support industry engagement activities within the Area of Finance


Required Qualifications
  • Masters in Finance (or closely related field) obtained by first day of employment or substantial industry experience in finance or commercial real estate;
  • Industry engagement sufficient to meet and maintain AACSB qualification standards.
  • Dedication to excellence in teaching.


Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the required qualifications, individuals with the following preferred qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply:
  • Significant industry experience in finance or commercial real estate.
  • Strong commitment to student engagement and mentorship.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for cultivating and sustaining industry relationships.
  • Established track record of excellence in teaching.
