Job Summary

Responsible for meeting enrollment targets for a specific territory, the Graduate Admissions Recruiter helps develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract prospective graduate students to the university's programs. This role involves engaging with prospective students, academic departments, and external partners to promote graduate opportunities, enhance enrollment pipelines, and support institutional enrollment goals. The Graduate Recruiter represents the university at recruitment events, builds relationships with prospective students, and provides guidance throughout the admissions process. This position requires strong communication skills, a data-informed approach to recruitment, and a commitment to meeting enrollment goals.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective graduate students, providing guidance on admissions requirements, program options, and application, admissions, and enrollment procedures
  • Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to attract qualified graduate students
  • Represent the university at graduate fairs, conferences, corporate events, and other recruitment activities
  • Support campus visits, open houses, networking, and community outreach to engage prospective graduate students
  • Conduct information sessions, webinars, and presentations highlighting graduate programs and admission requirements
  • Collaborate with program directors, faculty, alumni, student services, and industry partners to enhance recruitment efforts
  • Track recruitment activities and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and outreach efforts
  • Provide regular reports on prospective student engagement, conversion rates, and market trends to inform decision-making
  • Utilize CRM and other enrollment tools to manage prospective student interactions and improve recruitment efficiency
  • Seasonal travel to represent the university at recruitment events


Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience
  • Two (2) years of full-time professional experience in a sales environment, enrollment and admissions, or marketing with a demonstrated ability to meet goals. If a Master's degree, only one year of experience in the relevant fields above is required.

  • Master's Degree

Preferred Experience
  • Proven experience in graduate recruitment, admissions, sales, marketing, or a related field with a demonstrated ability to meet enrollment goals.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and enrollment tools to track and manage prospective student interactions, such as Slate.
  • Sales-driven mindset with the ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and convert inquiries into enrollments.


Proposed Salary

$24.04 per hour

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; public speaking skills and ability to present the University to individual prospective students and other constituencies
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple recruitment activities and meet enrollment targets
